Neighbors Helping Neighbors (NHN) was founded in 2011 by a small group of neighbors in LaGrange Park, IL with a simple but powerful idea: when a community comes together, it can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing hardship.  What began as grassroots efforts has grown into a longstanding local tradition, sustained by the generosity, compassion and dedication of our neighbors.  Year after year community members continue to show up, give their time, resources, and hearts to ensure that neighbors in need feel supported, seen and uplifted. 

NHN is a registered 501C 3 nonprofit organization, ensuring that every donation directly supports our mission of uplifting individuals and families in our community.  Contributions are tax deductible as permitted by law.
